Connect Cursor to UAI x402 MCP

Install links in cloud-agent chat do not open Cursor. Use one of the methods below on your Mac.

Method 1 — Cursor Settings (recommended)

  1. Open Cursor on your Mac (desktop app).
  2. Go to Settings → Tools & MCP.
  3. Click Add new MCP server (or edit mcp.json).
  4. Add server name uai-x402-security with URL:
https://x402-hono-api.inraby.workers.dev/mcp

Save, then run Command Palette → Developer: Reload Window.

Method 2 — Mac Terminal (one command)

Paste this in Terminal.app on your Mac:

open 'cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=uai-x402-security&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL3g0MDItaG9uby1hcGkuaW5yYWJ5LndvcmtlcnMuZGV2L21jcCJ9'

Cursor should open an Install dialog. Click Install.

Method 3 — Paste into mcp.json

Create or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json on your Mac:

Reload Cursor after saving.

Method 4 — Project config (if repo is open locally)

This repo includes .cursor/mcp.json. Pull latest main, reopen the project, and reload Cursor.
